Industrial Piping Systems is one of the largest wholesale distributors of industrial Pipe, Valve, Fitting (PVF), and related products in Central Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland. We service a wide variety of customers in the industrial, mechanical, food processing, pharmaceutical and government sectors. Our goal is to provide excellent service, quality products, value-added services and technical expertise to our valued business partners.

Our History

IPS was founded in 1982 by Stuart H. Raub, Jr. and three friends who saw a need for a Pipe, Valve, and Fitting (PVF) distributor that would specialize in the unique product and service requirements of the industrial marketplace. Originally serving south central Pennsylvania with one location, the company has grown to include five locations serving central Pennsylvania.

Christine R. Wardrop, Stu’s daughter, became President of the company in 2000. In 2006 she became sole owner of the company. The company has been certified as a Women Owned Business since 2004.

Our Inventory

IPS carries extensive inventories at our York and Williamsport “shipping” branches. All customer deliveries are made from these two locations. Our extensive inventories allow for exceptional fill rates. Convenient pick-up service is available at all branch locations for immediate customer needs.

Our Technology

IPS continually invests in the most advanced technology available to our industry. Our systems provide big benefits to our customers – efficient online ordering, customized reporting, quick turnaround on quotes, and easy access to contract and inventory data. Our remote wireless access system allows our account managers to quickly respond to customer inquiries from any location.
